How to Lose Weight Eating Anti-Inflammatory Superfoods

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Julie Daniluk RHN about her latest book, Slimming Meals That Heal.

Following the success of her first book, Meals That Heal Inflammation, Julie has created this invaluable new resource and recipe collection you’ll want to add to your library of health books and cookbooks.

After an introductory section devoted to explaining the science of weight loss, the book offers more than 120 flavorful and gluten-free recipes including blended drinks and smoothies, starters, soups, salads, main meals, treats and snacks (one of my favorites is the mock sour cream and chive dip, made from cashews – who knew?)

The book also includes a 5-Step “Live-It” plan that helps you transition gradually into your new style of healthy eating in a way that’s sustainable — satisfying your hunger, healing your body and eliminating the need for restricting or counting calories.

In our interview podcast, Julie explains why she created Slimming Meals That Heal; why eating anti-inflammatory superfoods is the recipe for losing weight, balancing hormones and reducing chronic disease; her 5-step plan for sustainable “live-it” change, and why the “deliciousness” found in this book is for you, even if you don’t need to lose any weight at all.
