A Space to Write
$25.00
10:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m.
January 22nd, 2017
Ever tried to write undistracted and undisturbed at your local coffee shop? Fighting for a seat. Or trying to keep one and feeling guilty about not buying another latte and croissant. And what if you wish to stretch, move, meditate or feel your way through your writing?
You could stay home and write. But will you? Or will you make excuses and do laundry (or just about anything else) instead?
A Space to Write gives you both the freedom to write your way and a dedicated time and space so you’re sure to commit.
$25 paid in advance or drop-in
Description
We meet for 2 hours at a centrally located studio in Toronto with our journals, notebooks or devices. Curl up with cushions and blanket on the beautiful wood floor or take a seat at the table and pour your creative heart onto the page. Apart from a short, optional sharing/intention setting circle at the beginning and end of the session, the afternoon is completely unstructured. Yoga mats and bolsters are available if you wish to stretch out, and meditation and movement (whenever and however you feel called) are encouraged to deepen your writing exploration.
